preparing for SA
The POW Ensemble is preparing for a visit to Cape Town and Stellenbosch between 9-16 March. We will perform at the 2nd Unyazi Festival for Electronic Music . In the same week we will do some research work at the Center for Popular Memory for a future project.
The line up will be:
Han Buhrs - voice, electronics
Luc Houtkamp - saxophone, computer
Guy Harries - voice, computer
DNA - turntables
Micha de Kanter - sound engineeer
Our research will be focused at District Six, a multi cultural neighborhood that was dismantled just before Apartheid disappeared.
